Parzifal..u obviously have the same kind of understanding as I do. I agree with most of your comments. I think the whale bit has to do with the womb. Leaving the womb and going thru life. I think the cyclops is the child and the mother is testing her loyalty when the house falls, but she is saved by the open window. the child realises the adult is ok and has passed the test. Now the child can become the adult,happens to us all eventually, it just takes some people longer than others!

The problem with the smart car is not the rigidity and crumple zones, its the mass, or lack thereof... you hit anything with substantially greater mass and the g-shock is going to be far greater in the Smartcar... that is what would kill you. The lack of large crumple zones to dissapate energy (relying more on the rigidity of the shell) makes matters worse. At least they point this out in the video.

No, you don't shut down the engine. You use rudder/trim to balance the yaw from having one engine out and, if you have more than 2 engines on one wing, possibly idle/reduce power to the opposite engine if needed. Shutting down an engine in the air to counteract yaw is just plain stupid, what do they put trim on rudders for? TO COUNTERACT YAW!
