I agree with you. It is difficult times for younger generation of Mulsims due to this media penetration. Many people among Muslims are not following correct path and lost the vision of Quran and Seerat ul Nabi (SAW), We will have to revive our educational system to overcome this problem.

God works in mysterious ways. By your own logic Mabewb why didn't God just send the prophet muhammad. You can say the same thing. God could have skipped everything and just sent the prophet muhammad. However in the ancient scripture God was very clear. There would be no other after Jesus, accept the spirit of truth inside us all. Your welcome to follow the prophet muhammad, but you follow him to your own doom and your own destruction.

Mashallah :D God does decide who he forgives, however Jesus died for our sins. He goes beyond animal sacrfice. Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice. You cannot expect to find heaven if u do not go through Jesus. Jesus is our representative. Jesus is Gods son, the last prophet. Do Muslims get baptised or has your prophet done away with that to?

The way to God is through Christ in THAT era. Because he was a prophet. Just like in the time of Moses, if you followed Moses and his law you'd be of the righteous and go to heaven. It makes perfect sense. If what you are saying is even remotely logical, then God could have skipped the whole line of prophets and just sent Jesus, but indeed you only overanalyse your own scripture. Why would God EVER need a sacrifice to forgive? The almighty decides alone whom he forgives. That is true monotheism

You have read a translation of the Qur'an. Translations can be erroneous as they are written by humans. The source still exists in Arabic while there are numerous translations. The non-Arabic versions are NOT considered the word of God, but only an attempt to relate the message in a different language. Notice that non-Arab muslims still recite the Qur'an in Arabic when they pray. So only one version, and the Bible characters, that is a whoooole different story. But get your info straight first.

The logic of Islam is flawed to Mabdewn. I have read The Koran and in some parts it has got Bible characters mixed up and made mistakes. Just search Koran mistakes. The Koran much like Bibles have many different versions. And presently today there are many different versions of the Koran and many versions of being Muslim i.e. Sunni Muslims are largest in number of Muslims while there are many other versions.

I know what the Christians believe in, I do own a bible myself, but again, the logic in Christianity is flawed in so many ways. It's been altered so many times throughout history in doctrines as well as in scripture. In the end, if you believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and that he is your Lord and saviour, then by all means follow that. peace

Actually as far as you can go back, the Quran remains unchanged. There is only one version in Arabic which is the source. So to say its based on word of mouth is because you obviously haven't done your homework. Again checking the original source in Judeo-Christian scriptures holds no water. There are so many versions of the Bible each claiming to be the most authentic. If researching the source is as clarifying, why is Christian scriptures and religion so diverse?

Actually I have read The Koran. Its much like The Bible, accept a little bit different, or some say warped. The Koran was a very easy read unlike The Bible. The Koran was like reading a novel. One would argue that there is no transperancy in Islam as you cant check the original source, as prophet muhammad is dead. Where you can check the orignal source in Judaism and Christianity. Your religion is based on word of mouth. I liked some part of the Koran, beautiful poetic.
