I guess I've been weaned into that philosophy. I've worked with the terminally ill for seven years prior to November 2008. I've learned not to sweat the small stuff and that we can't take material goods with us when we exit. Sometimes I look at a three-room cottage with a view and I can imagine myself living there and being happy (providing I can bring my books and CDs).
