I have to thank you for your response. Yes, Gladys can be very expressive. I enjoyed a particular song -- The Midnight Train to Georgia -- at a pivotal point in my life. It expressed the dedication and hope in another that I needed then. I enjoy it today (particularly on a certain anniversary. Yes, I know and agree that we will be together some day. I love this song. I listened to it for hours after my wife passed away -- three years ago. This is an exceptional vocal performance from Gladys, who many feel is one of the most deeply soulful female singers of all time, myself included. She may not have sold as many records as some of the other Motown acts like the Supremes, but the lady OWNED the songs she covered...the emotion and depth she displays in this song is as if she lived every minute of it. Thanks for the posting, even if the picture is a little fuzzy it doesn't matter, this is a vital piece of soul history.
