Well Albyiscool, in response to a previous post the US has targeted civilians before. In brief, the firebombings of dresden and bremen in WWII, which killed hundreds of thousands, two atomic bombs that where dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, civilian centers, not to mention the burning of native american camps. We have our history. Plus some of the detainees at Guantanamo are US citizens. However, US lay does not apply in foreign countries eg. Cuba.

THEY ignore the Geneva convention, therefore why should they have protection under it? If those countries don't have official armies that just prooves me right: they are not captured enemy soldiers, they are not people fighting a war against armies. But I'm sure many fail to see why they should be required to give Habeas Corpus to those who aren't citizens, and therefore are not covered under the Constitution.
