After listening to Pink Floyd I can't listen to the bands I use to listen too, like Linkin Park and Evanescence. They just suck so much compare to this. I now consider Linkin Park one of the worst bands I ever heard. There is very few bands that I like, like I like Pink Floyd, they are Led Zapplin, Tool, and Radiohead.

Not Really, why is that so hard to understand? I prefer other Pink Floyd albums that really use the Floyd sound (i.e Dark Side, Meddle) but the wall seems more driven by Roger Waters thats why I don't class it as my favorite Floyd album

they didn't copy. They paid tribute. They do it all the time between artists. A lot of MCR's album takes inspiration from this. As this takes a lot from both Roger Water's and Syd's life. Artists sometimes pay these little tributes- like borrowing lyrics and parts of videos. This is an example. Of course, I like MCR, but MCR is nothing compared to Pink Floyd.

he never talked about a Tiger shooting his dad, I dont know where you take that from, "when the Tigers broke free" is about the attack in Anzio where a panzer division attacked the allies, but it was a big fight and since the German used the blitzkrieg, panzers where oftent helped by planes, but he could have been shot too... I think Roger Waters is fantasysing(?) his father's death for the drama of the movie, but he might have been simply shot, or he may even have no idea how his father died
