awesome video. aren't the number of seconds from the start of the song to the first lyrics somehow of relevance too? i read somewhere it was equal to another mathimatical rule. i always thought at the end he says "what ever will bewilder me, what ever will be willed on me" instead of repeated bewilder me twice. i always interpretted that as like an acceptance of wherever his destiny may take him.

They aren't a true Fibonacci sequence, but each individual song pairing adds up to a Fibonacci number (13); spiraling inward, culminating with the 13th track placed right at the center, and then spiraling out from there. 6+7=13 5+8=13 4+9=13 13 1+12=13 2+11=13 3+10=13

Time frames to use Fibonacci are irrelevent in my opinion. A swing as defined as a movement up or down can be seen on 1 min chart, 5 min, 60 min, etc. What you should do in using Fibonacci is make SURE that the swing is at least 20 to 30 pips. Fibs don't work well at all on tiny 10-15 pip moves. And on more volatile currencies such as GBP/JPY use 30-40 pip swings MINIMUM. Again the swing is the swing so timeframe of chart isn't relevent for day trading. For swing trades use 60, 240 or daily.

The 1.618 is a Fibonacci profit target to exit your trend trades at and consider counter trend IF there are other factors such as other support/resistance there and how far overextended the trend is. In doing a counter trend trade at that level I typically will look for at LEASE a 38% Fibonacci pullback to look to exit at. That should be an area to LOOK for an exit. The actual exit is often a much bigger profit than this as you need to use trailing stops.

I bet though if you ask any profitable trader if they believe in Fibonacci retracements and especially Fibonacci profit targets they will say they do and almost all will USE it. Hehe.. for every trading method there is a chart situation which will fit and is excellent in being an example. In this case fibonacci retracement. Have seen a lot which were perfectly matching for RSI, CCI and so on. The question is which will really work in the future and not in the past. but 60 to 75 is a realistic statement and everboy needs to find out what he should use. So well explained athough!! Most of our group use a 50 tick chart. We also look at multiple time frame trends and primarily trade with the trend until it moves statistically too much (we have a stat tool that tells you this) and then look for divergence in our trend tool for counter trend trades. I only posted a 5 min chart for this video example because so many people use it.

You are EXACTLY correct. We use a technique called the Trend Capture Lines for entry. On trades that never break this level we don't enter and thus NO LOSS. In some instances our entries are 3 to 5 pips worse than the Fib levels but most of the trades work and we avoid a ton of losing trades. It also lets us get into some shallow 38% fib pullbacks and not worry about waiting for the 50 or 62%! We teach this in our class. Email us or call and we'll give you a free week and explain this.

the fibonacci spiral is just a spiral, not a special one. if you make a three D version of the Fib. spiral and move it around, it will look like any spiral anywhere. You can kind of explain this with a candycane or barbers pole. It looks like the spiral is moving down the pole because of how you move it.

This would not be surprising, as it is a "natural" sequence of numbers, and it may be more accurate to say that Fibonacci discovered it than invented it, if you will. this video is absolutely USELESS in isolation and in day 2 day real trading conditions (my 9-5) and this bloke knows it, should delete and combine with fib lessons at worst. Exactly. Think of it like this: Most people use grid lines on their charts that are evenly spaced. I take those off and put fib lines on very faintly in the background. They service as grid lines but are more meaningful. This video format is small so had to make them dark and the small size makes it look cluttered.

Ah. Thank you. That makes more sense. Your added comment on "cycles" made a light bulb go off in my mind. Now I can picture what you may use the fib time lines for. I am glad that it isn't used all the time, but in special cases, I can see how they might confirm cycle highs and lows of oscillators. Thanks for the good comment. My rule is just enough on the chart to give high probability scenarios and not one iota more. I don't use this all the time, but it's good for the big picture on index charts as it helps to confirm the cycle indicator.

Sorry to not be so enthused re: verticle fib lines. Itis too many things to put on your charts. I feel that I want to have as few as needed. I want my charts simple. I am looking at purchasing ur courses. I hope to be able to distill it down to just a couple of setups that can be traded over and over again. Now, I dont' know much about the ex-con trade or the freedom trade, but I am definitely going to check 'em out to see if they fit me.

Quite literally one of the finest breakbeat house tracks of all time and it really pioneered the way for progressive house to hit the heights that it did in the early 2000s. Pretty sure the vocoder vocal sample is form the movie Pi as that movie came out the same year as this tune.
