I saw this performed live when Monster was a new album and everyone at that particular gig wanted to hear AFTP songs.... yet all my friends talked about this song and this performance for months (years) afterward. its just one of those great live songs. Agreed Jim Rogers and Peter Schiff are just plain wrong about the dollar collapse and hyper-inflation scenario. all the worlds currencies are 'Fiat' so its a zero sum game. The Yen has surged against the dollar because of the huge unwinding of the carry trades (aka iceland)Americans can borrow at 0% interest so there's no longer any need to buy Yen denominated debt. Also the dollar should surge as the ECB and BoE cut to 0% I would be 80% cash 20% gold(or be 50% short the Dow if you know how)

I must respectfully disagree with MM here. I think that China is a social basket case and a powder keg. Currently, the gov't is caught in a Catch-22: they have to use force to maintain control, but the more force they use, the more animosity towards the gov't is created. There's a very real chance that China could fracture, or at least experience civil unrest to such an extent that their economic development is substantially disrupted, and with it their influence and military might.

Indeed you are correct, sir. However, in the long long run, they must go together. It may be good for the overall economy for people not to pay down debt in the short-run, but in the long run, highly indebted consumers will create serious problems. Similarly, it's in the interests of the gov't to print money in the SR, but in the LR too much of this destroys the economy, on which the gov't relies for tax revenue. The problem with that idea is that Africa is the most underdeveloped continent, is well-endowed with natural resources (so therefore suffers from the Dutch Disease) and it has a geography ill-suited for large-scale light manufacturing of the sort that China currently performs for the world. I think you're right. Also, I think that this risk is not sufficiently priced in. Neighboring states start cheating, price go down, conflict arises, price go up... I moved $10k into DXO at $2.05, which was damn near the all-time low, so hopefully this mess with Russia, Ukraine, and Europe gets really bad. Too much dependency on commodities - high commodity prices send the Looney through the roof, killing off value-added industries so they're left with little to fall back on, high interest rates, high unemployment, high inflation, and little room for maneuver during commodity busts. The IAS still has a lot of problems, is still far too bloated, entrenched, and corrupt. However, I feel that the problem is generally played up by those pushing an ideological agenda and isn't as bad as it's made out to be (their emergency services for hurricanes looks like gold compared to Katrina, for instance). At any rate, they're definitely moving in the right direction, and since reform is in the interests of the Indian people, I'd bet quite a lot that it'll get done.

Hello, thanks for your comments.What you will have heard me say is that the first scale out target is 50% of the stop loss size.This is where I will remove 2/3rds of my position.so a 30 pip stop loss size I will remove 2/3rds at +15. This is how I manage a break even trade rather than move my stop loss levels,been stopped out too many time for +2 in my early trading by doing that.You can use any combo you like.... 1/3 at a larger target..3/5ths-2/5ths combo. 50/50 and so on. Hope that helps

Very well done and thought out. The question I have is your exit strategy once you're in the trade. You noted your TP is somewhere around the ATR or two times your SL to create the 2:1 ratio. Is that correct? I would assume that means your TP and SL are variable depending on the range that has been created. How often are you seeing your trades swing in to profit, but then not hit the TP as the momentum on the breakout has ended?

Time frames to use Fibonacci are irrelevent in my opinion. A swing as defined as a movement up or down can be seen on 1 min chart, 5 min, 60 min, etc. What you should do in using Fibonacci is make SURE that the swing is at least 20 to 30 pips. Fibs don't work well at all on tiny 10-15 pip moves. And on more volatile currencies such as GBP/JPY use 30-40 pip swings MINIMUM. Again the swing is the swing so timeframe of chart isn't relevent for day trading. For swing trades use 60, 240 or daily.

The 1.618 is a Fibonacci profit target to exit your trend trades at and consider counter trend IF there are other factors such as other support/resistance there and how far overextended the trend is. In doing a counter trend trade at that level I typically will look for at LEASE a 38% Fibonacci pullback to look to exit at. That should be an area to LOOK for an exit. The actual exit is often a much bigger profit than this as you need to use trailing stops.

Most of our group use a 50 tick chart. We also look at multiple time frame trends and primarily trade with the trend until it moves statistically too much (we have a stat tool that tells you this) and then look for divergence in our trend tool for counter trend trades. You are EXACTLY correct. We use a technique called the Trend Capture Lines for entry. On trades that never break this level we don't enter and thus NO LOSS. In some instances our entries are 3 to 5 pips worse than the Fib levels but most of the trades work and we avoid a ton of losing trades. It also lets us get into some shallow 38% fib pullbacks and not worry about waiting for the 50 or 62%! We teach this in our class. Email us or call and we'll give you a free week and explain this.

I just started using a pivot indicator on my meta4 and already my trading has been looking better and I trade with a lot more confidence. Its like driving at night with or without headlights...pivot points really "light" your path! More accurate than stoch/MACD combo's IMHO. Just yesterday I bought on a support and price soared over 100 pips up within a few hours. That was a mini contracy but a standard would have net out about $800-$1000 on that one with a $2000 account! Not bad .

First we use another tool I haven't even put on youtube called FX Multimap. We compare statistically every currency to every other currency. We then buy strongest currencies vs weakest! So if EUR is stronger than most others and USD is weaker we buy EUR/USD on pullbacks to fibs, pivots and use our trend capture line technique for precise entry. We then have tight stops and trail winning trades. The avg wins in most of our systems are 1.5 to 3x+ bigger than losses. That's key to success.

I agree, trading Forex for most new traders is NOT easy. The key to making money trading any market is not necessarily high win % but a high avg win vs small losses. You can be right 80% of the time and lose money or right only 40% of the time and make a fortune. Many of our systems are over 60% winning but what makes them profitable over time is not the win percentage but our trailing stop and FX Multimap technology keeps you in for the duration of the trend. Big wins/small losses!

I've traded Forex for a while and have seen many presentations, bought tons of books and signal packages claiming that winning in Forex is simple. NOT TRUE! Trading this market PROFITABLY CONSISTENTLY isn't easy. Seeing what price DID after it's already happened is much easier than projecting what price WILL DO to make a successful trade. aunque no paso nada el 14! lo bueno de todo eso fue que nos volvimos una red en todo el mundo en esos momentos de espera teniamos el mismos sentimiento fue como producir una unergia en masa,. y tambien esos dias de espera hice algunos amigos por este medio y ya no me sentia tan solo en la forma de pensar , descubri que no soy el unico que pensaba diferente en este mundo por lo menos en el que me rodeaba ,.ese dia se volvio un tipo de fiesta ,fue como si ubiesemos acampado ala espera!!

The system described here would probably work on a surface level. But, it's more important to transform and transcend the feeling. But...of course, many have no such interest. I personally believe in living by the giveaway. As long as I do that with a good feeling, I need never worry about the flow of money. What is needed always comes. Could this work? I have spent alot of time working on understanding specifically how money influences society and just what part of the brain it activates. Money pushes people into the reptilian complex and puts them in survival mode. In most, it induces greed as the reasoning cortex does not much more than justify survival behavior, once that part of the brain is activated. In order for a change to take place,we have to transform the feeling(frequency) that relates to money. This is an internal process.

Just think of how many millions of lives could have been spared if Germany had defeated the Soviets in WWII.
