In the NHS (UK) all patients with a suspected cancer are referred to a specialist within two weeks. The rural county I live in has at least 5 MRI machines covering 800K people. No waiting weeks for scans here. As a healthcare professional I would feel safer in the NHS than in the local private hospitals. If you want to skip the insignificant wait the NHS hospitals also provide private care, but you get the same treatment. The NHS is not perfect but I would take it over the US system anytime.

Nice agenda-driven expose of an apparent socialised healthcare failure. From my own personal experience within the UK and France, serious cases are referred to consultants within days. Having had a relative survive cancer, upon suspicion of the disease they were in specialist care within four days. It's a matter of record that the UK's health system is orders of magnitude better than the US's by survival count for such diseases and operations. It's not free, either. Taxes pay for it.

Faced with this situation, I would end up paying loans for the rest of my life. They should do it like in NL: health care is privatized, but regulated and everyone has to be insured; those with low or no income dont have to pay the full price, every insurer has to provide a basic insurance (all coverage and prices are regulated by law). If you are uninsured, you can get hefty fines, and if an insurer refuses the basic (aka life saving) they might have their license revoked. And since it's private, there is competition between hospitals.

What they don't get is preventive care like regular checkups, antibiotics for minor illnesses, etc. But that's something we can solve with appropriate govt help. We just need to decide to do it, and then figure out how to fund it. You miss the point. If the US had such "strong libertarian ideals" the gov't would not have bailed out these corps. Which renders your point above FALSE. The reason Canada does not support a private system like the US is because IT DOESN'T WORK. It is not that we are so much more responsible than Amercns but it is that we have the ACCESS to healthcare and utilize the system to better manage our health. Nascar is weak. People watch real racing like this to watch them drive. People watch NASCAR to see people crash. How entertaining can a restricter plate figure 8 race be. The courses suck, the cars suck, the crowd sucks. It's a niche of America I'll never understand. At least it's better than Craftsman Truck??

I've enjoyed these so much, I'm considering learning Russian. I've had fun trying to understand the cartoon just by the vocal tone, expressions, and body language (it's really a credit to the animators that they conveyed so much, even with such simple animation!), and rewatching "Goes Visiting" with subtitles confirmed I'm getting the gist. k people with little knowledge on rc listen up.the suspension is not controlled by any thing. it just hugs the road, dirt or rocks on this case. the only things controlled would be the trans, esc. the sterring also and even sometimes scalers use sound and light. yay i love the smoke. and by the way have fun yall.

I understand your point, but i'm also a groom for high level trainers in the UK. Your assuming the horse isn't being taken care of then? If a horse is worth alot of money in this industry 90% of the time it will be looked after impeccably. Some of our horses have perfect technique, but others just don't, thats just the way it is. I understand your point though, some trainers are ass's. Who know's about this horse!?

Sweetie, I work for high level trainers in Ocala FL and I have seen things you wouldn't believe. Just because a horse is high dollar or a trainer has been in the business a long time doesn't mean the horse is actually being taken care of at the stables - the way it should, not the way a trainer thinks it should.
