I knew a comment like that would come up. But man, thats unfair. You can't even compare this to the original. To say it's more rock... The original was created in the 70s. even back then with Purple it's was awesome. I dont say this one sux or anything but if purple made the song when Whitesnake made the cover it would be even more awesome considering the mor modern sound W-snake had. I got this DVD and it rocks. Yeah, this was the opening song Burn, then part of the Strombringer is played and it continues with Burn again. Awesome and a very strong lineup Coverdale had here on this tour. Reb kicked ass with his Ibanez (I got one too xD), but I loved Doug's sound from his Les Paul better. All in all, great performance. David still has the voice :)

thanks for adding this what a cool thing to have. As far as the earlier argument, to me, it just looks like they didn't have any plan on how long to solos. I have had that when I have other guitars sit it with me... trading solos is tough to do without some choreography, layout, or chemistry/experience on stage. However, it was cool to watch anyway.
