guys, every world crisis or depression followed by world war, so be prepared for world war 3. its better to be ready. and dont keep ur assets in US dollars, the worlds greatest investors like W. Buffet and G. Soros all predicted the collapse of the dollar.
By: RetSquid. on 07 Jan 09, 22:17:07
DUH! Of course the price of gold in Dollars didn't fluctuate. THE VALUE OF THE DOLLAR WAS TIED DIRECTLY TO GOLD. The U.S. was also the last country to come off the gold standard.

Isn't is such bullshit what the fed has done to our currency? As said by Ron Paul, it is the devaluation of a country's currency that precedes its imminent collapse. The US is on the verge of that collapse, whether it be bankruptcy or something else, we are running out of worldly credibility.

the US invaded Iraq because they wanted to switch to Euros for oil. russia also sent ships to Venezuela. Do you think the first country the US will nuke is most likely China?
By: topgunner3210. on 06 Jan 09, 00:24:31
If Iran switches to Euros then they will have "WMD's" and thats cause for war. Russia gots war planes right now in Europe so maybe something stirring.
By: 7Hook. on 05 Jan 09, 23:59:38
But the iranian and russian currencies aren't competitors to the dollar. The euro is however. are you saying that the US might be thinking about bombing Europe?
By: topgunner3210. on 05 Jan 09, 19:54:31
Actually the dollar is tied to the bomb, whoever has the bomb has the "money". If another country(eg.Iran) gets hold of a bomb then it must be bombed, but you can't because Russia is right behind. So that is why the currency is going down.

I think it's a good thing to have at least SOME on hand. If you have say an ounce of gold, and the value of the dollar drops, your ounce is now worth more of the paper dollars and your buying power varies very little. If you have 800 paper dollars and 6 months from now it only buys what $500 would 6 months ago, you've just lost it to inflation. You could also exchange gold for other more valuable currencies than the dollar.

but we can't return to a Gold standard, that would cause a depression!

I hate this shit! What your doing is not educating the public you just take the obvious points and sensationalize it. Then what you get is a bunch of angry & motivated people wanting to change one bad situation for another and you do that to them 7 more times and they loose all hope. Most people are sheep and that's just human nature remember you have only one great decision so make it count and that's you Sheppard!

msrebel54: RE: Your comment to "Gold VS Dollar" I understand we have to hold onto gold, so that it appreciates. But we DO have to cash it into dollars in order to purchase things. I don't think the grocery store will take gold coins, if they do, it's cuz they're monetized, meaning they would only give you a dollar for a dollar gold coin. Do you plan to gold onto the gold indefinitely? And why? Thank you in advance, Tina

blueballzstudio: You said that we don't have to buy gold by the ounce, that we could buy half ounce, etc. My question: when I go to "cash in" my appreciated 1/2 ouncers of gold, will my local coin shop give me the right price willingly. They won't refuse me will they? Thanks for your help, Tina

rabbit2110: I agree with you. They will use this crisis to ram the North American Union down our throats and then Codex Alimentarius.

MatrixMarc: I have a question, maybe you can help: If I start to buy gold and it goes up in value, can I just go to my local coin shop and redeeem it for dollars? Couldn't they just tell me "no", if too many people are starting to cash in their gone-up-in-price gold? Thanks for your consideration Tina

goodnight vrnjak, stop writing me and don't expect to get comments when you post propaganda. Why don't you pray to your god Ron Paul, he'll save you. Peace

Your point of concentration of gold in the hands of the few was set in motion, in my opinion, by the Fed Reserve Act, the influential trust/cartel imaginable. Isn't that actually more likely to occur with a banking trust which literally answers to no one?
