I play on 360 and seriously I hardly ever see good use of C4 in SnD. Sometime there are some on the bomb but when I plant the bomb I have enough time to run away before they activate it.

I really think there are not many good places for claymore in every maps and when they are in other places, well they are obvious. I really prefer watching where I go and being cautious than using bomb squad because I can usually predict where they are. But I guess it's your style of play that decide, I prefer having claymore or more nades than using a perk that is useless to me when I'm cautious. And no one ever use C4 in SnD.

yeah you did lol xD and nah, coz different people put claymores and c4 on different things, i use mp5 silenced with m9 no attachment bomb squad, stopping power and extreme conditoning, i think its great. becuase just think of all the times you've been killed by a claymore or c4 chasing after someone, and also, say you think a claymore is in a certain place, with bomb squad you know that it is/isn't and i use clamyores alot, not so much 3 frags though. i think it's kinda nooby

I might have responded to the wrong guy, but once you played a bunch of game you know where claymore can be placed. You just have to watch your step and you can use another perk (3frags or claymore)

I find myself doing way better in closequarter map with steady aim than with martyrdom (which I never use because a perk that doesnt do anything while I'm alive pisses me off), deep impact or dead silence (unless SnD)

Martyrdom is nooby, but good. Steady aim is absolutely useless on an SMG or Assault, and dead silence is good in any game. Headquarters, you hear them coming up the stairs, you can hear if they're coming up behind you or across the wall or something.

I'm 10/55, all guns have a high hip-fire rate as it is, especially SMG's. The only thing I'd use it on is a bolt action sniper for no-scoping.
