Time frames to use Fibonacci are irrelevent in my opinion. A swing as defined as a movement up or down can be seen on 1 min chart, 5 min, 60 min, etc. What you should do in using Fibonacci is make SURE that the swing is at least 20 to 30 pips. Fibs don't work well at all on tiny 10-15 pip moves. And on more volatile currencies such as GBP/JPY use 30-40 pip swings MINIMUM. Again the swing is the swing so timeframe of chart isn't relevent for day trading. For swing trades use 60, 240 or daily.

The 1.618 is a Fibonacci profit target to exit your trend trades at and consider counter trend IF there are other factors such as other support/resistance there and how far overextended the trend is. In doing a counter trend trade at that level I typically will look for at LEASE a 38% Fibonacci pullback to look to exit at. That should be an area to LOOK for an exit. The actual exit is often a much bigger profit than this as you need to use trailing stops.

This is a TRUE comment! Any BS indicator out there has times where it works. Even a broken clock is right twice a day! I bet though if you ask any profitable trader if they believe in Fibonacci retracements and especially Fibonacci profit targets they will say they do and almost all will USE it. The hard part about Fibonacci levels is WHICH to use? We draw trendlines over/under the counter trend swing to know EACTLY WHEN to get in and thus fewer and smaller losses and higher win %

Hehe.. for every trading method there is a chart situation which will fit and is excellent in being an example. In this case fibonacci retracement. Have seen a lot which were perfectly matching for RSI, CCI and so on. The question is which will really work in the future and not in the past. but 60 to 75 is a realistic statement and everboy needs to find out what he should use. So well explained athough!! Most of our group use a 50 tick chart. We also look at multiple time frame trends and primarily trade with the trend until it moves statistically too much (we have a stat tool that tells you this) and then look for divergence in our trend tool for counter trend trades. I only posted a 5 min chart for this video example because so many people use it.

You are EXACTLY correct. We use a technique called the Trend Capture Lines for entry. On trades that never break this level we don't enter and thus NO LOSS. In some instances our entries are 3 to 5 pips worse than the Fib levels but most of the trades work and we avoid a ton of losing trades. It also lets us get into some shallow 38% fib pullbacks and not worry about waiting for the 50 or 62%! We teach this in our class. Email us or call and we'll give you a free week and explain this.

Just check with your broker and ask do my position really get into the forex market ? If a position enter a market it's called a TRADE. If a position did not enter a market it's called a GAMBLE. Get to know your broker type such as bucket shop/ spread better. This kind of broker are same as gambling house. Your position do not go anyway, just inside their server.

I just started using a pivot indicator on my meta4 and already my trading has been looking better and I trade with a lot more confidence. Its like driving at night with or without headlights...pivot points really "light" your path! More accurate than stoch/MACD combo's IMHO. Just yesterday I bought on a support and price soared over 100 pips up within a few hours. That was a mini contracy but a standard would have net out about $800-$1000 on that one with a $2000 account! Not bad .

First we use another tool I haven't even put on youtube called FX Multimap. We compare statistically every currency to every other currency. We then buy strongest currencies vs weakest! So if EUR is stronger than most others and USD is weaker we buy EUR/USD on pullbacks to fibs, pivots and use our trend capture line technique for precise entry. We then have tight stops and trail winning trades. The avg wins in most of our systems are 1.5 to 3x+ bigger than losses. That's key to success.

I agree, trading Forex for most new traders is NOT easy. The key to making money trading any market is not necessarily high win % but a high avg win vs small losses. You can be right 80% of the time and lose money or right only 40% of the time and make a fortune. Many of our systems are over 60% winning but what makes them profitable over time is not the win percentage but our trailing stop and FX Multimap technology keeps you in for the duration of the trend. Big wins/small losses!

I've traded Forex for a while and have seen many presentations, bought tons of books and signal packages claiming that winning in Forex is simple. NOT TRUE! Trading this market PROFITABLY CONSISTENTLY isn't easy. Seeing what price DID after it's already happened is much easier than projecting what price WILL DO to make a successful trade. I'm not saying this system doesn't work however don't expect anything easy in Forex. Any trader who's had any amount CONSISTENT success will tell you that.

Yes this is in our TopGun software. We also now let you adjust both line thickness and width of the screen you can view pivots. Now you can intuitively know if a pivot level is a Monthly Pivot, Weekly or Daily. The monthly's almost always cause a bounce in the market, in other words most trades off monthly levels provide 30 to 50 pip moves. I really would like to try your software, I just have a question. Those clear pivot point lines are provided with your software or does it comes with the chart you are using for the presentation? He said that if he put in his order of say 10K, the ask/bid price should change because it was a true ecn broker. hahah... Idiot. CONTINUATION Our double stat high/low trade and 4 hour stat trade rarely go against us and especially not when in the direction of the 720 min trend. I called out a GBP/USD buy in our Paltalk room at 1.9675 at 1:30 today and it rallied up about 25 pips in less than an hour. John, both brokers have their pro's and cons. FXDD has 200:1 leverage so you can trade more lots with a smaller account (new traders without first knowing how to trade should NOT do this). FXDD just recently increased their spread on GBP, JPY and CHF so Velocity4x has a lower spread right now. I just tried your demo and so far I have to say this is an amazing trading system. I took 12 trades and had only 3 losers but 2 of them were for a few pips. I also caught the GBP/USD 37 pip gain and the biggest profit was about $670 with 1 lot in the EUR/USD, caught 67 pips. As I said previously, don't rely on ONLY Fibs, though - using multiple timeframes can give you a sense of direction, and other indicators can help confirm/fine-tune the exact entry.

don't be to upset with your selves folks, and don't buy into this B.S. don't get me wrong if used correctly fib's are extremely useful but he is not trading live!!!! so of course its easy to say all his trades are were successful. watch the video again and you can see him moving the chart as if it were live then acts pleasantly surprised that it moved in his favor. of course it did he already saw it and knew where to place the Fib's

Some of the time. The important thing (for this system) is not the time frame (it scales to all(), but that your longer and shorter term time frames be a factor of 5 apart, or close to it. If I'm trading the 5min, then I'll look to the 30min to make the strategic decision to be a bull or bear that day, then I'll look to the 5min for tactical entries. If I'm watching the 15min, then I zoom out to the hourly. If trading on the Daily chart, I'll use the Weekly.
